Principal DILEEP KUMAR S New A 2

With lot of warmth and affection!!!

As Principal of VSIA, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website. I feel privileged and honoured to start my journey as the Principal with VSIA.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

I believe my role as an educator is to guide and nurture the next generation to establish skills to achieve health, respect, prosperity and fulfilment. I am passionate about students being empowered to succeed. As Principal, I use all tools available to inspire staff, students and community to work together to promote student achievement and well-being.

Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society.

We call our community the “VSIA Family” because we want our school family to be an extension of your family. We want to serve you in times of joy, happiness, and triumph, but also in times of challenge, grief, and struggle. Academic learning and growth are our bottom line, yet we also understand that educating students means being attentive to the “whole child” and caring about their social and emotional well-being. We value relationships and connections with the community. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers and the broader community. Here at VSIA, our staff set high academic standards for our students. Our staff works diligently to ensure that each child is working to his or her maximum ability.

We at VSIA, also believe that every child is unique in nature with varying needs. Therefore, by fostering conducive environment full of love, care and creativity we instil in our children a desire to learn with emphasis on their social, emotional, physical, aesthetic and intellectual developmental aspects.

In each one of us there is a marvellous creative potential that needs to be discovered and used for a happier and more productive life. As students your success in life will depend on your outlook to life. If you have the right attitude, no matter how difficult or tedious the task, however big the hurdles on our way may be, you shall surpass them. Milton was blind, Napoleon was afflicted with skin disease, Julius Caesar suffered epilepsy, Beethoven and Byron were deaf! Yet all of them succeeded in their lives. Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor of the electric bulb, failed nine hundred times in his experiments before he succeeded in his invention of the electric bulb.

“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations”

Our aim is to work unanimously to unleash the inherent intellectual, social and emotional capacities of all students who pass through the gate of this Institution.
